Bimolecular

bimolecular A is an organic molecule produced by living organisms including polymers of large molecules such as proteins polysaccharides and nucleic acids and small molecules like metabolites secondary metabolites and natural products

For organic molecules bimolecular are mainly composed of carbon and hydrogen nitrogen and oxygen and to a lesser extent phosphorus and sulfur Other elements sometimes are incorporated but are much less common

Types of bimolecular

A variety of bimolecular exist including:

* Small molecules:
Lipids phospholipids glycolipid sterol
Vitamin
Hormones neurotransmitters
Carbohydrates sugar
Disaccharide

* Monomer:
Amino acids
Nucleotide
Monosaccharide

* Polymers:
Peptides glycopeptides polypeptides proteins
Nucleic acid or DNA RNA
Oligosaccharides polysaccharides (including cellulose)
Lignin
